I didn't make any plan for today. I just wish to travel as freely as I could. Since Hong Kong isn't that big, everywhere basically is reachable by their subway. If you wish to explore the places bit by bit, you can choose to walk in nearby areas like how I did. However I will also list down the places I went in today!

I always start my day with a good breakfast, although I didn't do any research but since I stay at Sheung Wan for this whole week, I do know which old style Cha Chan Teng which worth to go. Thus I start my day here with awesome traditional foods!

Yik Cheong Building aka Montane Mansion 怪兽大夏
Yik Cheong Building which also well known as the ‘Monster Building’ for its conglomeration of five incredibly dense and stacked residential complexes.  This attraction is located in Quarry Bay and no doubt, this is one of the most Instagrammed spots in Hong Kong. It was built in the 60's with it's perfect reflection of city's famed urban density. It became so famous after being featured in Hollywood blockbusters including Ghost in the Shell and Transformers: Age of Extinction. However due to the increase amount of tourists taking pictures and causing disturbance to the tenants, the area is now banned for photography. During my visit, I didn't know it's banned for photography, but the residents didn't chase us away as well. Just make sure you don't make much noises, the locals won't stop you from taking pictures.

Direction: To get to Montane Mansion, you just have to take the MTR and get down at Quarry Bay Station or Tai Koo Station, then the Montane Mansion is in walk able distance.
Location: Yik Cheong Building, 1028 King’s Rd, Quarry Bay

Tramways aka 'Ding Ding'
The Tram system is one of the earliest mode of transportation in Hong Kong and it only runs within Hong Kong Island. The tram is environmental and use friendly. With 6 different tram routes and cover up to 120 stops, you are manage to witness the beauty of this beautiful city with HKD$2.3 per ride (no matter which stop you get down).

Truly different feeling of viewing this
hustle and bustle city

Everywhere in Hong Kong is worth exploring!

鹤颈桥打小人Traditional Villain Hitting
Vengeful mistresses, “jealous wives”, and employees looking to expel a rotten superior…If you are feeling bad luck these days or you wish to repel the figures of wrongdoing in lives, under the flyover at Canal road and Russell street, below the towering skyscrapers of Causeway Bay, five old ladies slam slippers against bricks, beating small pieces of paper back to the pulp they once were.

Known locally as “villain hitters”, the group of mostly elderly women set up stall every day under a flyover in the former British colony’s busiest shopping district. As Hong Kong residents have become increasingly disillusioned with their leaders, more and more have sought out a more ethereal method to vent their anger.

How to get there:
地址:香港岛铜锣湾坚拿道西与轩尼诗道交界(鹅颈桥底)
从港铁铜锣湾站A出口,沿罗素街向鹅颈桥方向步行5分钟。
Causeway Bay Station, Exit A, Times Square, and head towards the Canal Road flyover. Or take the tram or bus along Hennessey Road and get of at the Canal Road stop.

Causeway Bay is indeed a hustle and bustle area of Hong Kong

Night View@Kwai Tsing Container Terminals
Kwai Tsing Container Terminals is the main port facilities in the reclamation along Rambler Channel between Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It has been the sixth-busiest container port in the world since 2016, just after Shanghai, Singapore, Shenzhen, Ningbo-Zhoushan and Qingdao.

To get there: Take MTR to Lai King Station and exit at Exit A1, walk around 15 mins to the Car parks of Cho Yiu Chuen

Last Mural Photo in Sheung Wan before I reach home.
